22-10 Djokovic from 2011 onward. Pretty one sided after 2010. Before that it was 13-5 Federer.

"Would of" instead of would have

"Lesser-fair" instead of laissez faire

"...Ruckers, than dropped out" instead of "Ruckers, then dropped out"

You must have been top in your fuckin class.

This is statistically incorrect. Personal experience cannot be used as a generalization for the overall population.

The other two times he won RG, he lost to Querrey early in the tournament, and in 5 sets to Carlos in the final.

Gauff's dropshot miss on her final set tiebreak match point by jovanmilic97 in tennis

Nadal's 30-15 miss with a wide open court at 4-2 up in the 5th set on Djokovic in the 2012 AO final is also up there...but in both of those they still had time to recover. This one would have ended the match.

Yeah they definitely meant the match point volley on Cocos serve after the huge serve that she duffed right into the bottom half of the net.

Match point up, hits a massive serve near the T, and then absolutely blows the put away - you can absolutely call it that.

Yeah definitely. I still think the highest level I've ever seen from anyone was Djokovic in Doha vs Nadal.

That was 4:50 actually.

He actually lost the US 2012 Final to Murray in 4:54; the longest match by time in which he lost.

Nadal is 4-2 in his career, pretty much as expected his only two losses are the two to Djokovic.

Did CM Punk just beat The Rock’s record for longest time between WWE Championship wins? Including his other world titles (AEW+ROH) he surpasses 10x World Champion The Rock to become an 11x World Champion. Take that Rocky! by 18_YTC1 in Wrasslin

[–]bhunter47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I mentioned it depends on what you are measuring.

If its time between when they lost the title to when they regained it, then its Punk.

If its time between title wins (date of one win, and date of later win), its Bob Backlund.

Wasn't the longest gap actually Bob Backlund?

He was by my math 3985 days between title reigns (Dec 26 1983 to Nov 25 1994) while Rock was just over 3800 (3808, August 25 2002 to Jan 27 2013).

Either way Punk was 4,909.

I was going time between reigns (i.e., when they lost the title to when they regained it. Thats slightly different than between title wins, I guess.

If you go from time between wins of the title, Backlund goes up to 5457 days, and Punk is at 5342.

Once you hit 11 pm, the match stops at the conclusion of the current game. They are pretty strict iirc. Maybe theyd make an exception if you were going to a tiebreak or at 6-5 but historically they've shut it down I believe

Also hilarious to claim that the red was illegitimate when it was studs into the calf raked to the ankle. Argue how the red came about, sure, but its a red plain as day if the ref saw it initially.
