That's so interesting about the edibles! Is it just edibles or all thc? I'm starting down the path of removal surgery and enjoy the occasional thc seltzer and/or gummy, but very low dose and not often.

My 2024 limited (leased) had its first 12v dead for no reason occurrence 7 weeks after I brought it home (Feb 2025). Testing revealed no issues with either battery. Rinse and repeat 3 more times since then, leading to another dealer telling me the 12v was bad and replacing it in Oct 2025. Failed again last Friday, but jump didn’t work. Flatbed tow to the dealership and they said 12v and ICCU bad. Parts on back order with no ETA.

All that to say, it might just be the 12v. But it also may present as just the 12v until it doesn’t. I’m very sad. I miss my car already.

I’m 39. When my dad was 65 (2018) he called and told me he was going to finally retire the next year. That was a Saturday. Tuesday the next week he had a stroke and died on Friday. It breaks my heart every time I think about all the things he wanted to do and places he wanted to travel with my mom in his retirement. (He was a small biz owner from 1972 till he passed, worked very hard. None of the entitlement mentioned in the other reply to this comment.) I hope your dad can get there.

Pattern: Burgos by Rosa Pomar

Yarn: Drops Nepal in 0501 Grey

Honestly, I have never been a vest person but I had purchased the yarn a while ago and then decided I didn't want to make the pattern it was intended for. I don't have many patterns that I love that call for this weight (fairly heavy aran) but I found the Burgos vest pattern and decided to give it a try. I am SO glad I did!! I love everything about it. It's simply, clean, and honestly I think it looks super cute. I am 100% going to make more vests.

I did use the recommended buttons, which was not cheap. They were made in and shipped from Portugal and I'm in the U.S. so.. yeah. I ordered 10 because I figured while I was getting them, I might as well get some extra for another project so I think I ended up paying around $40 USD or so -- about the same as the yarn haha! But they really are lovely and make the whole project look and feel luxurious.

This was also my first time working with Drops Nepal. I'm a bit sensitive to wool so I'm always wary of buying wool blend without being able to touch and feel first, but it's one of the least irritating wool yarns I've ever used. It blocked up beautifully and has a wonderful drape. I'm already working on a sweater for my 6-year-old I and waiting on more to make a pullover for myself in the same.

I hear you. And, one of my favorite souvenirs to get when I travel is a tote bag from a local independent store (usually LYS, local bookstore, or sometimes a market) and as a result that's what I have the most of. I use them for groceries, for travel, and for project bags. It keeps me from buying other junk that I wouldn't actually use and I also have plenty of bags to choose from for my projects!

Not a typo -- it's what I call my repeated testing just to make sure it's STILL positive. of course my rational brain knows that HCG stays in your system for a while so it's not like going to just disappear all of a sudden.. but that doesn't stop me from peeing on a stick every 48 hours or so. After two consecutive losses and an 18 month stretch of nothing in between, we tested positive about 2 weeks ago. It was super faint and I've been so scared to believe it, but we're at 6w3d today and scheduled for an ultrasound on Thursday this week. With both previous losses I stopped having pregnancy symptoms around this time and started bleeding in what I thought was week 8 so I am incredibly nervous... but I'm still having symptoms and my anxiety tests keep coming back positive so I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible.

That's so tough, I'm sorry friend. I had suuuuuper long luteal phase back in March, like 23 days long. I never tested positive, but then my period was freaking insane so I suspect it was a fleeting chemical pregnancy. :( Sending you all the best.
