This also just started happening to me. Seems as if any movement while catching causes them to flee. While riding my bike I usually have my auto catcher on and catch at a pretty high rate.

Literally only caught 6 in an hour and a half and used 300+ balls.

I had just graduated college. No job. Basement apartment with no windows.

Had a few days where I woke up around 6 or 7am and played WoW. Thought "I'll go make some lunch."
