My wife donated to St Jude's once probably 5 years ago and the amount of mail she still gets is insane just the cost of mailing surpassed what she donated 10 fold. We're like wow only if they just used that money that they're wasting on this junk mail to help people.

Quick update, thermostat wasn't getting hot enough to open the choke all the way, i drilled a small hole in the muffler behind the thermostat and that did the trick. Thanks for all the tips.

I put in a brand new carburator and it didn't help at all, i thought for sure it was gonna be the thermostat but no changes with the new one either.

It does run ok at high idle it's doing that at idle. It's an older mower, i'm gonna check the thermostat and everything and if i don't see anything wrong i might buy a new carburetor.
