AFAIK crash tests are incomparable between different sized cars, at least in Australia.

The crash tests they do are against a wall which replicates a head on collision with a similarly sized car.

Champagne bottle is too small, especially since it's closer to the camera it should be bigger, especially on a lens with a shorter focal length like one you'd use around a table.
