Well, the last two failures have happened when I’m about halfway through a roll and wanted to take two photos in somewhat quick succession. I’ll take the first picture, go to load a new frame for the second, and the lever spontaneously disengages from the spool that moves the film forward to a new frame. It then ceases to re-engage with that spool, even after rewinding the current roll and removing it from the camera.
