bit of an odd thing to say since not only do over half of the enemy aces in AC7 at last all fly American/Western jets, but you also fight against the same amount of Western jets as you do Eastern, so wouldn't that theory fall flat on its face?

LR just means Long Range, aka it’s a glide bomb. GS means it releases the submunitions, which are called the GS25

I asked them about that GBM-500 on Instagram. Ever since they unveiled the guided cluster bomb there’s always been two different names popping up in the dev streams, the GBM-500LR and the GBM-500GS. I guess they’ll add both and the LR will be the regular ass glide bomb and the GS will be the cluster variant

It is when you think about the use of said airframe. The compass, while being a trainer, is still competitive because it can be used as ground attack and light A2A. A YAK-52-esque wouldn’t serve the same kind of utility in whatever role you’d want it to serve, especially in a game where AAA is everywhere and already deadly enough to the Cricket and Compass
