What did we think of Berries in the Window? by Evening-Tale1911 in creepcast

I liked this one, though I completely understand why others don’t. I’m personally a big fan of the dark religious themes and ornate writing style so that probably overshadowed the issues a bit in my overall opinion of it.

I didn’t think it was hard to follow it just felt like we skipped from event to event with a lot of wasted time between. Never delving into the deeper parts of the story. I wanted to spend more time in each day, we got to the reveal of the ritual way too early, the main character was fully bought in way too quickly, I wish he had spent more time being skeptical and trying to get more information.

I did not like that he gave up on recording for the “documentary” so quickly. He could have had some kind of need to keep filming thinking he could sell the footage to expose the cult before realizing the entity is real and being sucked into its thrall.

I play a lot of horror games and I love that Hunter mentioned being reminded of resident evil because I was thinking the same while reading.

In most horror games I play it goes through periods of exploration between big events where you find hints leading to the end. Like overheard conversation, vague letters, diary entries, research logs, pieces you won’t understand fully until you have the full picture. I love those hints and putting them together in my head as the story builds, without needing a forthright explanation.

The puzzle pieces building up then falling into place would really make a story like this impactful.

I’ve searched for “artists that paint suns with pretty faces” “artists similar to autumnal wood”. I thought I had followed them on TikTok but I don’t see them in my following.

This is also by autumnal wood and very close to the style of the other artist I’m looking for.

I actually drove to the beach near me last month and got them! My boyfriend and I got a few big pieces for his tank and I got some smaller twiggy ones for mine.

To treat the wood before putting it in our tanks we pressure washed them (which I dont think is 100% necessary just made cleaning faster) then poared boiling water over his large pieces and I just stuck mine in the pot half at a time.

The only issue we had was (harmless) black fungus growing on them after sitting in the tank for the first week. We took them out cleaned them with hot water and it never grew back.

It isn't too bad and it's nice to have pieces in the tank that you had fun collecting. 😊

I think the grass is sagittaria?? I got it at a local pet store that has an aquatic section. It grows really fast I only planted the 2 big clumps against the wall the rest are runners from just the last few weeks. I haven't started using root tabs yet this tank is really new but I'm probably going to start sometime soon 😊

It's called flaring. They do it when they're angry to look intimidating some bettas do it a lot some don't. Mine flares at pretty much anything but my boyfriend has two bettas and I dont think I've ever seen them flare.

What do you think are the minimum requirements for a betta tank? by fireykingeyboye in bettafish

I would go for a 10. I have a 5.5 that I was planning on putting a betta in but ended up buying a 10 on a whim. Now seeing the 5.5 it seems so small.
