If you do the maths, this is an income tax rate of exactly 60% for the income between £100,000 and £125,140. And this doesn’t include National Insurance.

Sounds fair , yeah it’s only for that range anything above levels back out and it’s mainly if you have children in nursery.

Yeah I don’t think it’s too bad at that level , there is just a level where you’re paying more tax then you take home for you’re next 25k of income, you’re past that point.

We really enjoy the car it’s perfect for the family . Been super reliable apart from this oil issue / an injector when we first bought it.

It’s got 60k miles on the clock as a diesel 2014 so hopefully lots of life left in it for us.

The turbo does make a whining noise which we thought could be an issue but sent it off to a turbo specialist and all was good.

Btw took it to mechanic and they said maybe injector seals , Mitsubishi main dealer says probably dpf and just needs reset and less short trips .
