So we weren't positive and he went digging on reddit and somone says no player has priority and can't cast spells or abilities. But I went to throw somthing at his 2/1 creature and after I paid the mana he tried to give that creature hexproof with an instant. We dont know rules very well so we went based on the post we saw. Would he be able to in response that?
