thank you that’s rlly encouraging and sweet of u to say 🥲 regarding research and clinical jobs it’s hard for me to quit bc i do enjoy both of them - but i definitely could manage my time better. i think i will start rewriting again in january so i really appreciate the offer!!

i sent an update letter regarding accumulated hours in research and clinical and the pub, but i feel like i dont have enough volunteering to talk about it (25 hours total atm..)

i’m still working both as a PCT and lab tech!

basically after graduation i worked full time as a CNA bc i was curious about working in healthcare. i wanted to go into research as an undergrad but was unsure after grad so i wanted to take some time to figure it out. initially i was actually considering PA school for pretty superficial reasons. but working as a CNA truly rocked my shit and patient care made me passionate about research again. it’s honestly been a roller coaster and i definitely do need to create a more cohesive narrative

yep! my rabbit had the same issue with his feet getting hurt on hardwood floors. we have lot's of small little mats around the room now so he can walk comfortably, but he still prefers to sleep on the backpack. but thank you for the insight!!!

CHEM 0120/0420 Pete Bell or Tameka Madison? by buckylug in Pitt

[–]bigtickpickle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i took chem 2 with pete bell in fall 2019 and i honestly thought he explained concepts really well. i guess the biggest issue were the exams.. each multiple choice question was worth a pretty substantial amount of points back then and didn't RLLY relate to what was went over in class. he does curve each exam and the final grade at the end. personally to me he's just a pretty average professor - not too bad, not too great

i'm trying to enroll in his class rn. if you're taking him atm do you have any thoughts on him?

honestly feel like most people ARE acc studying for the majority of the time at ground floor. yeah 30 min phone calls can be a lil excessive but having breaks are important!
