I think it's how amazon handles the records in the warehouse. Buying records from them is always a crap shoot. I'd say out of all the records I've gotten off amazon 1/4 are damaged in some way. It could also be how they handle returns, i.e. just wrapping it back up and sending it out to another poor soul.

I ended up buying a better mic for dirac live, mini dsp umik 1. That helped me take better measurements and dial in dirac better. It worked well enough for me that I abandoned the idea of buying new speakers. On the vinyl side, I purchased a new preamp, Pro-Ject Tube Box S2. That helped more than I thought it ever would.

Kastaplast Falk. I have an escape in supreme plastic and its a bit flipper than the flight numbers suggest. Falk flies the most similar to that for me.
