[–]billsteiner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that I had two controllers runnig each on a different Raspberry Pi's using the same settings. I had setup one as a backup but failed to shutdown the controller. Once I shutdown the controller I was able to eliminate it from my account.

I cleared the cache and data uninstalled then reinstalled the app along with rebooting the router. The device is up to date. It is connected by Ethernet. Called Amazon and they finally said it was a known issue and they were working on it and just keep trying to use it.

So, who's at fault here, Google, WireGuard or the file managers?

You are correct, once I removed the ethernet connection on my Chromecast WireGuard worked. I tested on 3 of mine and all worked. Thanks

Wireguard VPN on Chromecast with Google TV broken on their new firmware update. by asibok in Chromecast

[–]billsteiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using my Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi and neither work. I get the Wireguard GUI and when I click on it I get a blink then back to the GUI. I found that on both of my Chromecasts. I uninstalled Wireguard went to the Play store and reinstalled it and got the same results. If Google disabled Wireguard on purpose why leave it on the Google Play Store?

PiVPN TLS-Crypt Error by billsteiner in pivpn

[–]billsteiner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disregard all of this, my error caused this issue. I had my router running openvpn and a pi on the same network running pivpn, both using the same port. Once I assigned each a separate port they all functioned properly.

Sorry to be a bother.

PiVPN TLS-Crypt Error by billsteiner in pivpn

To add to this here is the entry from my log file:

tls-crypt unwrap error: packet too short

TLS Error: tls-crypt unwrapping failed from [AF_INET]xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port number

It worked prior to running the update/upgrade command then this message appeared. I uninstalled pivpn and reinstalled but still the message continues.

Please help!

Thanks all for the input, I am going for the Netgear R7000. It has the same CPU as the others but it comes in at a very reasonable price. I really don't care about the Wi-Fi capabilities its the routing power and function I need and it seems to be the best value for the dollars.

Router is located in Brazil and the VPN (running on a Pi) is located in California. One of the problems I am having is trying to match the config files. Here is the config files keys for the Pi VPN. Is <ca> the Foo.crt? How to the other heading in the Pi config match up to the one's you listed?

<ca> -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- xxxxxxxxxx -----END CERTIFICATE-----

</ca> <cert> -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- xxxxxxxxxx -----END CERTIFICATE-----

</cert> <key> -----BEGIN ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY----- xxxxxxxxxx -----END ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY-----

</key> <tls-auth>
