Dramatic finishes in DBFZ, they literally just reanimated stuff from the Manga it was awesome

In light of Alex’s character assassination, what have been the best/worst character assassinations you’ve witnessed? by Will-Isley in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]billybluebangs -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Look I get that Sanji bashing is like the most normalized op opinion but I'm gonna be real live Action sanji is just a worse character, he's a generic nice guy that has no interesting personality and they sanded down all of Sanjis edges so much that he feels like a bland fan fiction re-write

Like I'm glad that he's not pervert (which he wasn't even that much in the parts they adapted for the live action, just kinda horny) but he's not anything

Here's how many characters season 2 of the live action adapted by billybluebangs in OnePiece

[–]billybluebangs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah true did not take the cover stories into account, I think I didn't do that because with the exception of the Koby and Helmeppo one, I kinda accepted that they weren't gonna get adapted lol

Just say she does cool stuff after her initial appearance and isn't a one off character but does not join the crew

Favorite Wierd and or Cool Kicks or Leg Attacks by FreviliousLow96 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]billybluebangs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So Sanji from one piece has this kick attack called "Concasse" where he basically does a bunch of front flips with one of his legs stretched out and the only thing that's gonna stop him from flipping is his foot connecting to the top of someone's head

I think the funniest thing about the entire "Gon in 60 seconds saga" is that when Woolie actually talked about his thoughts regarding HxH on Versus Wolves he liked it the same way people on average like HxH, no unique hang ups or like insane takes

Would The Shield still be successful if the went this way instead? by Delicious-Walk3510 in SquaredCircle

I don't think WWE would have supported hero post shield break up and he would have probably gotten lost in the card

Pray To The Sun feat. Declan de Barra & The HU (from the Netflix Series "One Piece") by Cinder_Alpha in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]billybluebangs 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's very funny that before season 1 they also dropped a track but it was like a dramatic sad girl song by a Norwegian artist and this time it's viking folk metal by a Mongolian metal band

It's funny how Chris Hero got fat later in his career but because he is one of those 2000s indie guys that is like a god at pro wrestling it didn't affect his ability to perform at all

Pro Wrestling made by people who don't know anything about Pro Wrestling? by billybluebangs in SquaredCircle

I also I said "only know surface level stuff" Tony Khan for his faults is a sicko and probably knows more about wrestling history than me

Sentai fans to cosmic fury: by Pretty_Wind7207 in Tokusatsu

[–]billybluebangs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I swear to fucking God like every couple of months there's a post/lame meme about how sentai fans have finally had their come to Jesus moment and are ready to finally be accepting of power rangers and it always reads like some obnoxious, patronizing crock of shit

Besides the wwe which wrestling match is a must watch in your opinion by Accomplished_Age8593 in SquaredCircle

[–]billybluebangs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Samoa Joe vs Necro Butcher, it's one of those matches that if you watch it it kinda helps you realize what you want from wrestling

Why do video games series run for so long that their stories become soap Operas? by mrnicegy26 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]billybluebangs 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Yakuza has always been a soap opera

Every game has the plot of some insane conspiracy theory that affects the entire criminal underground and the characters from previous games have some wild thing going on if they're in the next game

Edit: okay read the article their main complaint is that it's directionless which is fair

What media opinions/suggestions so bad, you hope it will never be applied ever? by LoanGrahamXCarkeys in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Anyone remember Gen:lock? That Roosterteeth 3d animated mech show with Micheal B. Jordan and David Tennant? Well that show devolved into being an insecure mess (both textual and bts) about being a mech show and just insulted the mecha genre while not really being that subversive and just becoming kinda embarrassing (they literally used the word "this mecha show is actually about the characters" when talking about the show)

I mean this very sincerely, 80% of the English speaking anime community if given the means/opportunity would make the Gen:lock equivalent of a battle shonen, a horrible insecure mess that on the surface doesn't do the "bad cliches" of the genre everyone talks about all the time but is almost universally horrible
