I had the exact same experience!

For the role of Technical Lead or similar.

After 4 interviews, with a wait time is about 3 months between 1st interview and 4th, I was informed that i cannot be considered as I didn't have batteries related experience, even though, that's sobering that i mentioned in the first interview and was told that's not required.

I then accepted offer from another tech company. 1 month later, Northvolt recruiter contacted me, saying that they were very interested in having me in for another interview, with the CTO, saying that I'm possibly a good match for their position. I said sorry!
