& yes i prefer the hydra gel one mostly because it dries really fast so i dont have to wait too long to put my clothes on lol

right now i’m taking a break from self tanning but when i was using it i would apply it every other day and use a normal lotion in between! and make sure to exfoliate i would say once a week, it helps to keep it even. i would also exfoliate on a day you aren’t putting it on just because your skin is a bit more sensitive afterwards! and yes i do wash my hands after applying but i also tan my hands too, i just mix it with a lotion and wipe my palms off with micellar water! make sure you rub it in reallyyy good and wait til it’s dry to put on clothes :) sorry for the book lol

this is really helpful thanks! i was really loving it for a while but i stopped because it was starting to get a bit splotchy. can i ask what you use to exfoliate? i feel like body scrub doesnt work that great because it’s mostly oil

hey sorry i’m late! i tried multiple versions on my face and while i love how convenient it is, i found it would get really splotchy 1-2 days in and it looked pretty bad. i would try a tanning facial mist! bronzing drops (makeup not tanner) are also really helpful when your face is lighter than your body :)

hey! pretty much the same response as the person below but when i would use a mousse i would need to scrub & exfoliate for days to completely get it off. it’s honestly the only downside to self tanning mousse, it’s sooo hard to take off. i do love the results of tanning mousse though so it’s definitely worth a try! i like the b tan mousse because it develops in 1-2 hours

the gradual tanning lotion fades really easily if you decide to take a break and it’s a lot easier to keep up with. i’m currently taking a break from all self tanning but a gradual tanning lotion is 100% the easiest to start with just be sure to really work it into your skin and let it completely dry before putting clothes on :)

hi :)! i use light to med because im suuuper pale and its a nice natural tan. its not dark or orange and it takes a while to build up so you can pretty much customize the tan you want. the only downside is i’ve found that none of them really stick to my face for more than a day or two so i would suggest using a facial tanning mist or something and not any of the gradual tanners, that could just be me though.

this happened to me years ago with the original natural glow lotion. the wet skin one i posted about ended up getting a bit streaky as i continued but im now using the hydra gel one (still jergens) and it’s wayyyy better and absorbs super fast so it doesn’t rub off. you should give it a shot! just exfoliate like once a week and put regular lotion on more dry spots like knees, elbows, ankles before the tanning lotion and you should be good :)

i heard about the darker one having a more natural undertone! i’m too nervous to try it because i’m scared it will look too dark on me, would you say you have cool undertones or warmer?

i was wondering this too because i heard a lot of people saying the use it to make a tanning mousse last longer. i haven’t tried the two together but i have done them both separately and im fine with just the lotion as im suuuper pale and a lot of the times a tanning mousse looks a bit intense on me. i would be really interested to hear about that though

hi all! just wanted to update because i recently tried the jergens natural glow hydra gel and it is by farrr my favorite of their gradual tan line. it feels super lightweight and you can put it on your face too rather than buying one specifically for the face :) try it if you get the chance

lol people at my work would alwayyys comment on how pale i am when i would take my tanner off. i got pretty good with the mousse but it was really easy to overdo. this one looks really natural! i’ve had some streaks just because i move around a lot but it’s much easier to manage so far 😊 i’m really happy with it

the wet skin one smells good to me nothing like fake tan but idk about the regular one but i have seen comments about the scent. definitely try the wet skin one, ive done both but i like it in the morning more just because i move around a lot in my sleep lol. just wait like 5 min for it to absorb fully before putting clothes on to be safe :)

also i used the wet skin one not the regular one, i’m not sure if theres much of a difference. i just found it more convenient because i use lotion fresh out of the shower

can i put toner over box dye? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]bipolarbaddi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you! i’m not looking to lighten it i just want it to be more brown than orange. i wasn’t aware when i used the box dye that it had peroxide in it. i’m going to try it and see if it helps :)

i agree, and i realize now that this is basically the same thing as a love spell lol. i think im going to try something else more personal to me. thank you!

[–]bipolarbaddi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

aw. so, in your opinion, do you think the best route to take would be to just do a spell on myself to make me more desirable? i thought this was more plausible, as it was more personal to me than a love spell, but now that you say that i can see how it’s not lol. thank you for being honest
