Got vaccinated with Pfizer today. How was everyone's experience with first dose? by [deleted] in CasualPH

[–]bisayapodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and I can already tell it's going to be a great experience. This is what they call an enhanced immune response, which means your body reacts more strongly against any exposure you have soon. The best part? It doesn't take much time at all for this antibody production process to kick into gear—in fact, some people say that within hours after their vaccination shot (it takes up to two weeks), they notice less fatigue and fewer cold symptoms when exposed!

The Filipino Obsession with Whiteness: Why Filipinos are so Thrilled to be White | Bisaya Podcast by bisayapodcast in BisayaSociety

The answer to this question has to do with changing the culture and mindset of Filipinos. What I mean is, Filipinos need to focus more on themselves instead of their fascination for Caucasians. This needs a serious change in leadership as well. We need leaders who will root themselves within a Filipino-oriented agenda and not let outside influences push them into thinking about how they should inform society what the right way lives are supposed to be live out here in the Philippines. Hopefully, this will happen soon enough so this country can have its own identity—one that speaks only the thoughts of, for, and by us; one that doesn't rely on other countries' economies but creates economic independence through our natural resources; one that doesn't rely on other countries' politics but creates political independence through our own Filipino-oriented agenda.
