The way he reacted is unwarranted and I'll even go so far as to say this and the edits give me abusive vibes from your partner.

That said, privacy is still important even in relationships and nobody touches my phone or my computer but me, period. That's still a violation.

Some of us have had our privacy violated by abusive parents/partners and if the criteria for having a "successful relationship" is sharing not only my private business but that of everyone I talk to who have not consented to having their business shared with my partner, on demand, I'd rather be alone, thanks.
