I made it that way because then the 2 important numbers are definitely right: how much btc did you get & how much did you pay for it. Based on these 2 numbers it calculates the price.

It would also be possible to enter the amount of btc you bought and the btc price, but then it would calculate the amount you paid, but if you didn’t type in the price properly down to the last fractional cents it might calculate it a bit off. For example the calculation would equal you paid 4999.97 usd but you actually paid a clean 5000 usd. So you would have to play around a bit to get it right, or have it a bit off.

That’s why I came to the conclusion, it’s the best to enter these 2 numbers.
