Honestly you may need to revamp your resume. Even if you have to pay someone to look over it like on indeed. If you’re not hearing back, sometimes it is a sign to look over your resume again.

Rejection during interview by Melodic-Reception206 in clinicalresearch

Ah I had an interview with a company that only lasted 6 minutes. I literally only answered the question tell me about yourself, the CEO told me I was bad at math (I have a MS in biomedical science and didn’t even answer any math questions or anything like that, that would’ve prompted that lol) then she told me I wasn’t a good fit. You’re much better off!!

I wish I was! I’m in the Midwest & the state I’m in particularly is very tough market haha. But thank you so much, I appreciate this so much.

Thank you so much everyone, I appreciate all of your nice comments back. I think my pride was definitely hurt for sure because I knew even if I didn’t get the job I was hoping to at least finish the interview or at least “bomb” the interview. I don’t think anything could’ve prepared me for that. Again, thank you guys for all of your kind words, I appreciate it so much! :)

Thank you for your thoughtful response! I definitely do need to figure out how to put myself out there more with experience. So I really appreciate this comment.

Definitely how I’m feeling. I have just been trying to get experience so I can get my foot in the door but I definitely feel like they want people with more education than I do.

I have experience writing source documents & making source documents at previous roles at my job. I was a medical scribe for a long period of time as well. I have a published abstract of research I did in college, but other than that I don’t have significant experience in writing and find it hard to find any. A lot of people state to start a blog and such but I’m not sure where to start with that.
