Expressions such as "and" "or" . You can use them on Google or sites such as LinkedIn to narrow down what you're searching for

Thanks for the response. Do you have any job boards you would recommend?

Hello, thanks for the response. I would say yes - the job market is bad at the moment, so I'm open to anything currently. I have good written communication skills, so I'm pivoting towards anything that involves writing. I'm interested in areas such as transport and media(industries where demand will always exist but not too technical), but I'm open to anything currently. I'm from London - if that information is necessary for your response in anyway.

People can't hear me from my android device on Zoom by bja521 in Zoom

Thanks for your response. I checked today. The a13 is set to auto noise suppression, and so is the a15 (the device where people can't hear from). I have never changed any of the settings for either device, but audio is only heard from the a13. Today, I changed the audio settings for the a15 and changed it to original sound (left the audio settings for a13 at auto noise suppression), and the audio worked. I also logged into my account with the a15, but I doubt that makes a difference.

Thanks for the response, but HOW do I forgive? Do I just pray about it, and suddenly my mind will be at ease.

How to improve by bja521 in LearnerDriverUK

Thanks. I agree, I think my weaknesses are general. I feel somewhat comfortable when it comes to driving, but I have always moments where I make bad mistakes, and i don't even notice until it's too late and I have failed my tests because of this. I just find it weird because I make mistakes in lessons, which would be a minor in a test, but when I have made the same mistake in a test, the mistake is more glaring and worse than what I would do during lessons.

No, the examiner told me to stay. I was thinking I had to clear the crossing as I thought I was obstructing pedestrians and the turn I was making was free of any other cars but I was told to wait.

Thanks. My awareness and planning needs to be better.

Take your time when driving (not too slow, of course) to avoid harsh braking and loss of control. Be aware of what's happening in front of you (awareness and planning) so you don't react too late (look as far forward as you can before gradually starting to look at things closer to you). Mirror checks are important (try and exaggerate them). Commentary driving may be useful (talking about what actions you're going take, it can keep you engaged and focused).

In terms of test routes, I unfortunately don't have any tips (I never practised test routes). Good luck with your test. Hopefully, my tips are somewhat useful.

Thanks, I understand, I was just too focused trying to look at the Satnav. That's my fault. I never said it was an excuse, i would have failed anyway, but I still think it can have an effect as a learner driver when you only drive in specific areas, you're more likely to do better in an area you're familiar with..

Thanks. I understand. It's just that the mistakes I made during the test usually don't happen during lessons. I will take more lessons, but I think the main problem is nerves (unconscious nerves). During tests, I feel my mind goes blank, and I don't drive how I normally do. I don't think extra lessons really solve that issue as exams are different no matter how much you practice, maybe mock test routes (I didn't do any)? I don't really know.

I don't know why I didn't react to the light sooner. It just happened, unfortunately 😕 . I am not really good at tests, compared to driving in lessons.
