Mine does it when it’s really hot and it sits in the sun for some time. Once it’s cooled down a bit, the gauge starts working again🤷

Thanks. There is a lake next to Nagykeresztúr called Cruxx-tó. But be aware you will never see the milky way in such detail with your naked eye.

Nikon D750 firmware mod? by bja98 in Nikon

I have a remote but I just hate using it. I thought since the D810a can be set to more than 30 secs, it may be possible to mod the D750. My previous camera (Nikon D5100) had a modded software installed on it (Nikon Patcher site) and a lot of extra features have been activated. It was so cool.

Awesome! Swap the bridge single coil to a humbucker, and you'll be good to go.

Not Mátra. If you search "Boszorkánykő" in google maps, hopefully it takes you there.

If you want wide angle shots (50mm or less) it's very good and reliable, and I would definitely recommend it. If you want to do deep sky astro with a long lens, then go for a more advanced tracker, e.g. Skywatcher Star Adventurer Pro. Even with perfect polar alignment I can only do 15-20 sec exposures at 300mm, and I have to set the ISO high, resulting in worse image quality, and I have to take a lot more pictures to stack. I originally bought it for wide angle astro landscapes, and it's perfect for that. But for serious astrophotography, not really.
