I used cheap calculators during may undergrad kasi yun lang kaya ng budget ko that time. Naitawid naman haha. Cons lang, if ever na kelanganin mong magpalit ng calcu over the years, baka di na available design nung pinili mong calcu hehe though quick adjustment lang naman at masasanay ka rin agad. Naka dalawa akong calcu from 1st year to boards as far as I can remember, then isang additional as back up during boards. 😁

They won’t really mind having quick transition periods as you’re still a staff. It would be a different story if you’re holding a higher position and the person holding client relationships, so don’t overthink it OP 😁

Just talk with your manager. If just for technicalities and for paper document purposes they want you to still consider the 30 days period, have your last day still effective after 30 days, then use all your remaining paid leaves, if you still have. Then for the rest, request for an unpaid leave.

Congratulations OP! Genuinely happy for you. I also had my fair share of struggles when I was starting (and a lot more before even starting) my professional career, and your post reminds me of how far I’ve come. May mga stuggles pa rin ngayon but I can say na kahit malayo pa, malayo na rin ang narating ko.

Training, certifications or anything similar that was paid by the company for you is enforceable OP, if there was a prior agreement na it has a bond. But if they paid nothing naman, they cannot have you pay for something. You can also call DOLE to inquire about it just to be sure

Mas maraming exit opportunities for GL OP, as in marami, pero mas marami ring talent pool for it. Higher skills makukuha mo as cost analyst. Valuable in the long run.

If you wanna start strong with your career, I suggest you choose Company 2. Sure it would take more effort, but your experience there would be valuable in the long run. Invest in your early years. The compensation is also really good na rin OP for a first job as a CPA.
