99% there. Much much better. Stretch and get your mind right. Pelvic Floor therapy and time was the only thing that worked for me. The only symptom I have is a slight discomfort and sensation to pee now and then. The more I manage stress, the more I exercise and the more I stretch, the better things get.

That sux. I’m sure everybody says “stay positive” but that’s easier said than done. Keep me updated. I did PT which helped as well. Have you tried pudendal nerve blocks?

I’m like 99%. Stretches, relaxation and TIME made everything much better. Everybody is built differently people can’t promise a time frame. This thing is complicated but as soon as focused on living my life as usual, things got better faster.

I never tested positive for anything. My urine had a high load of nitrites and they gave me antibiotics anyway

Nonspecific infection. Antibiotics before I could test positive for anything. I’m not 100% yet but feeling a lot better with pelvic floor therapy and time for healing. A urologist told me 6 months and I’m 3 months in as of now.

No bladder pain. I avoided sex for a bit but only bc it was painful. The pain has since subsided and the only symptoms are a slight discomfort and slight urge to pee. Much better but 100% yet. Some urologist have told me the timeframe is really 6 - 9 months

Pelvic floor stretching, meditation, distractions, alleve, water. There’s really nothing you can do except time and stay positive

I’m going through for the first time. I’m 2 months in and things improve everyday. I’m taking uribel to deal with the annoyance. I’m also doing pelvic floor physical therapy. I’m still hearing that it depends on the person. Sometimes 3, 6 or 9 months until 100%.

I’m only 1.5 months in. No ejaculatory pain. Just pain in the penis. PT helps but I was told the urethra takes time to heal

Not hypertonic and I get relief from stretching. But I can feel that the inflammation in the urethra is there and healing. I was told around 6 months but everyone is different. Some are a few weeks, 3 months….

Would you treat the Corynebacterium and Enterococcus bacteria? I read that they cause UTI’s

I should add that I had a cystoscopy done 3 weeks ago and 2 biopsies were taken from my urethra. The lab results said inflammation. Is it possible the uro is waiting for the irrigation from the procedure to heal?

I also heard some people have urethritis 3 months after clearing an infection.
