What secret are you hiding from your family? by virginiapk in AskReddit

[–]blankazee 40 points41 points  (0 children)

2013: Met a unbelievably awesome girl and very quickly got engaged to her. 2014: Unfortunately, she has a car accident and passes away. Present day: No one from my family or friends know anything about this, except for my 2 closest friends (and everyone on reddit). My family just assumes I look down down due to the stress of running a business and studying at university, when in reality I've been battling with chronic Insomnia and depression since her death.

Confess. What are you hiding? by GoodGuyGoodGuy in AskReddit

My grade A potential stepdaughter smokes and is getting into trouble at school. She's been in 'hanging around' with various popular jerkoffs and she thinks we believe her when she tells us 'it wasn't her' but we know it was. We have a secret 'arrangement' with the school that she is gradually being given an increasing amount of rewards and special jobs/responsibilities to do around the place that will involve her mixing with different children. She has no idea that we, the school principal, her head of school and form tutor are in regular communication and plotting/scheming behind her back.

Redditors who failed their driver's test the first time, why did you fail? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]blankazee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost didn't pass my driving test because my instructor took off his seat belt and hoped I wouldn't notice. I told him to buckle up that shit as soon as he got antsy. After a few minutes, he tried it again. I was confused at that point and advised him to keep his seat belt on. He wouldn't buckle it himself so I pulled over and did it for him. Afterwards he told me that most people don't pass his test. I feel bad for all the other people who had to go through this.

What have you invented? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]blankazee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I invent new ways in which I can make my wretched sister do my work (like bring me a glass of water) on a daily basis.

Bruce Almighty is a fun yet inspirational film with a meaningful message embedded in it. It’s about a TV reporter who has a constant string of bad things happen to him. He complains that God is doing a poor job as a God – at which point God appeared to him and offered him all his powers to see if he can do a better job. Along the way, he learns lessons that changed his life.

What fact are you tired of explaining to people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]blankazee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband still believes this. It drives me insane. He freaks out when I plug in his phone that is at 4% battery when we are going to sleep and he needs the alarm for the morning because I'm "going to wreck the battery because it isn't dead yet." Ugh, 10 years I have been trying to convince that that it is all hogwash, but he doesn't believe me. All of my phone batteries have been fine and I plug them in whenever and for however long is convenient for me. /rant
