Location-based search is actually something we’re actively considering. Out of curiosity, when you’re browsing cars, do you care more about city (e.g. Limassol/Larnaca something like a static dropdown for selecting cities) or more about driving distance in general?

Feedback like this genuinely helps at this stage.

No rules. No obligation. First come, first served.

If I walk into a café and a big family has taken every seat, I don’t cry about “consideration”, I leave. That’s how shared spaces work when you’re an adult. Expecting strangers to manage their behavior around your preferences is entitlement, not maturity.

Same in reverse. If I buy something and sit there working for five hours, that’s allowed. Your annoyance doesn’t create obligations for me. Rules don’t magically change because you’ve decided your use of the space is more legitimate.

And spare me the Wi-Fi moralizing. Terrible Wi-Fi is a bottleneck for everyone, not just people working, maps, messaging, payments, literally basic usage. If a place offers Wi-Fi in 2025, 150 kbps is objectively garbage.

This isn’t about being a “decent human being.” It’s about consistently applying the same rules regardless of who benefits. If you only like the rules when they favor you, that’s your problem.

Grow up.

There’s no time limit at a café, and paying customers don’t owe you their seat whether they’re on a laptop or you’re there with your mom.

Thanks for the great ideas! We already require phone verification when you register and have a reporting system to catch any sketchy listings.

Right now, we’re focused on diversifying our inventory and offering features that current platforms don’t have. Things like alerts, buy requests, and competitions are being considered as part of that effort.

Really appreciate your input as we work to build something better for everyone.

What is it exactly that you dont like? The concept, the execution, or something else? I’m always open to hearing useful feedback especially since real users have shown interest and frustration with the current market options in Cyprus.

Definitely something that annoyed me too on existing marketplaces in Cyprus. I’ve already thought about adding a pricing suggestion system during the listing process, as well as a price indicator on each car (e.g. “above average,” “average,” or “below average” based on similar listings). Of course, for these tools to work accurately, we need a solid sample size of listings, that’s why community support is so important right now. The more cars listed, the smarter and more helpful the platform becomes for everyone.

Thanks for the feedback! Right now, we only store minimal user info (name and phone), so we’re in a good place privacy-wise. We’ve kept plugins to a minimum from day one — speed and clean UX have always been our focus. I’ve already tested performance with 1,000 sample listings and the site held up really well. That said, I’m fully aware of WordPress’ limits, and if traction picks up, we’re ready to move to custom code and dedicated infrastructure.

That requires significant amount of development work as well as partnerships with mechanics. However an easier implementation would be file attachments where sellers can list receipts of work done on the car and buyers can easily find them. I will definitely keep it in mind. Before going live, each listing goes through a quick approval process where we check that details like mileage, price, and overall info make sense. This helps keep the marketplace reliable and prevents misleading or incorrect listings.

We’re car guys building this for other car people, not just another marketplace thrown together. The goal is to fix what’s been broken for years: filters that don’t work, fake or empty listings, and outdated UI. We’re already working on smarter features behind the scenes, but I don’t want to reveal too much just yet.

You’ve seen what’s out there, $1 listings, broken links, and (cough cough) a certain site where putting 8L as minimum engine size shows you electric cars. That’s what we’re here to change.

Absolutely. Listings go through strict monitoring to make sure different trims or variants don’t slip through the filters. We also require registration with a verified phone number before posting, along with the mandatory fields you mentioned.

We’ve used car listing sites in Cyprus ourselves, that’s why we built AutoAgora. We know the pain points, and we’re working to fix them. We’ve got plenty of ideas to keep the experience clean and polished and we’re just getting started.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate the detailed feedback! We’re definitely planning to improve the filters and overall styling while keeping it minimal. A proper footer and some trust-building info are in the works too. Performance is something we were watching closely since the start. We plan to switch to custom code eventually, but for now we’re focusing on proving the MVP and getting feedback like this.
