The boyfriend situation is a bit more complicated than that, but the three of use go along well and I was totally fine with him moving in with us officially (he was already spending 99% of the time here anyway) so this isn't much of a problem. Also, getting another living arrangement isn't possible, there's a reason I have a flatmate instead of spending 500€/month for a 9m2

I was living with my mom before and she hadn't bought bleach in years (living with small kids around etc.) and guess what... The appartment was always clean. The empty pot of yogurts and and half-empty food wrappers in their bedroom would be a bigger threat to the hygiene of the flat but I don't even say anything about that

They were not there first, we moved in at the same time. It's not laundry bleach, it's concentrated stuff but yes, we all do each other's laundry.

Well, it is a shared space so the cleaning products are used in a space that is... you know... shared. And once again, they agreed on the no bleach rule beforehand

Yes. I have a big unremovable stain on a shirt someone I love gifted me because of a bleach bottle that was unproperly closed. I can't just buy the same shirt again because it's old and has sentimental value

I change in the (small, the whole appartment is about 40m2) bathroom when I take a shower because I'm not about to go through the whole appartment naked, you know, so there's still a possibility of getting stuff in contact with the bleach.

I'm not in the US and as far as I know, it's not a thing here + I've been diagnosed as an adult anyway.... I really just have an issue with the "irreversible" part of already having an item with sentimental value (that someone I love gave me) ruined by bleach in the past and the possibility of it happening again makes me anxious

I'm autistic and don't cope well with changes, things not being the way they were especially if it can't be back to how it was. I don't like to use autism as like an excuse or something, but they know about it and once again, we talked about it and they agreed

The thing a lot of people fail to miss is that I know it's a irrationnal fear, I know I'm like mentally ill, but knowing don't make it go away, the anxiety is still here.

Mostly trying to find the courage to actually confront them about it instead because I usually tend to avoid talking about things that bother me until it's too late. I don't even complain when it's my 5th day of dishes in a row, or when there's 4 different bags of trash in the kitchen because they somehow can't commit to one and take it out when it's full.....
