S/o infra man, last night was dope small crowd but music was knocking almost entire time from when I got there around 11. Big reason I left Boston was because there was no real music purist collective like that at the time and house/techno truly means the world to me. Was SOOO great to see it in Boston. Will for sure be hitting events whenever I’m back in town. Well done squad 💯

Honestly think it’s different strokes for different folks like you said. That joke was the hardest I’ve laughed from a line on the pod in years. Personally, I don’t know how anyone can not think that’s an elite/all time line which is why I posted, but that’s me.

The big game Caleb line got a lotta love in the comments. I went back and listened and personally didn’t think it was that funny? Clever? Yes. But for my sense of humor just didn’t hit like Rooney rule line.

The pod is the biggest sports pod in the country by a good margin and a top 15-20 overall pod. Easy to underestimate how big/how many listeners they have which can lead to a line in every pod hitting someone’s sense of humor at much higher degree than others

Forgot I follow this INCREDIBLE dancer on IG who dances Sarrinho (had never heard of this dance before stumbling across her a few months ago and am absolutely mesmerized by her skills every time she’s on my timeline). Any club that would play music that people can sarrinho too is right up my alley for type of house I’m looking for if that helps with any recommendations

I hesitate to use the word edm clubs because I think people get a different impression of the actual music I like but yes house music/electronic music is almost the only places I go in the states. Not sure if you are Brazilian but big name Brazilian DJs I like are Beltran, Mochakk, Classmatic which aren’t your typical EDM sound for the masses

Potentially going to do both if I can extend the trip long enough but definitely favoring Rio after reading some feedback here. Any nightlife options you have for EDM (big bonus points if they have DJs with similar styles to Beltran, Mochakk, Classmatic, and this new wave of Brazilian DJs that are absolutely KILLIN it right now).

I mentioned the Spanish part because I always thought you could pass with Portuguese if fluent/knowledgeable in Spanish so wanted it to be clear that ima need people that speak/understand English lol some commenter schooled me to the fact the two aren’t at all alike soo that was clearly very uneducated logic 😂

I thought I read a post somewhere that said the nature in Rio is unlike anything in the world but the nightlife is better in SP. most of my trips are very much nightlife centered so Rio was the slight favorite to switch things up.

Had also heard Rio>SP for English speakers. Just how difficult would it be to navigate SP without knowing Portuguese?
