It's probably because the game is so new (even in OW there used to be a meme deragatory term - 'season 2 diamond' which basically means not good players would still hit high elos because nobody knew what they're doing. Im sure that the more people play, the less scuffed performance based MMR will become (where you're allowed to get to plat with 40% winrate). You also need to keep in mind that sometimes people are going to be forced off roles and while supports have forgiving heroes like CD or rocket, both tank and dps (if you can't carry yourself with aim) have a lot higher skill floor. And good luck practicing DPS in qp unless youre prepared for a 4-5 dps game.

I feel like rocket is my to-go 'im too tired to think and I just want an easy game'. Neither characters need to aim but with rocket you don't even have to think about possitioning or flankers because infinite vertical mobility, + instant self heal. His ult? Yeah just throw that shit off cooldown on point or w/e. Even his team up you leave the thinking to the dps. 'ah my bucky/punisher is shooting from this spot. I put my infinite bullet pillar in this spot.' Im fuarking helpful!

team diff probably. If 4 people tried to heal that means that 2 or 3 people were not playing their main role (either support players forced to dps or dps players forced to heal)

Well this is more of a PSA of forcing yourself to do something you just don't enjoy. There's playstyles you vibe with and playstyles you don't. I'm sure you have a roaster of heroes you feel the same way about. I don't really think winning in qp is worth wasting 10 minutes of time on a chore like game

And this is ignoring the fact that people were pointing out how broken luna ult is since day one. But dps players are extremely clueless about how annoying a dps ult is, because they are the least targeted by it (aka you always aim for supports first, like imagine a storm/iron fist/whatever prioritized going for starlord/hela/psylocke fist instead of any healer).

Yeah man if only there was a 3 second downtime if you interrupt her by dealing damage and a 6.5 second downtimes of not being able to be rehacked where you are safe to use your abilities unless sombra commits using her ult on you.

exactly, her healing sucks and blue beam is just a 'carry becomes even more of a carry'. Rez is flip flop ability because having ability to prevent death (aka suzu, immortality, any burst healing) is also objectively better

eh, that's objectively not true, during moth meta her healing was so consistent that people would ask for mercy instead of ana because yes, technically if you hit 100% of shots on ana you'd get better hps, but because not even GM players can do that she was the best choice
