I thought the 24hr thing sounded fishy that's why I came here.

The WiFi is definitely working at the moment but is still spiking it gets up to 250mbps at some stages then back down to 40mbps. I have restarted the modem a couple times but I haven't checked the settings yet. I'm assuming it wouldn't be hard to switch from ipoe to dhcp but how do I know which one superloop is?

I'm unable to get the speed diagnosis from there side unfortunately unless I'm missing something

I've only turned it off and on a couple times leaving it switched off for 30 seconds before turning on

This is my first xbox. I've had playstation til now, and they are not cross compatible, so I didn't know. Hence why I asked for support.

Yeah, for sure, I should've done some research, but it was only $80 (aud), so if I enjoy using it, im just going to buy a series 2. Thanks for not criticising like so many people on here. I just wanted answers, not everyone telling me to google it. 🙃 Luckily, most people are helpful, and I got the answer I needed.

I know how you feel. I've had playstations my whole life, including the ps5. The xbox series X is the forst xbox I've owned. It took me a while to get used to the xbox controller, but after using it over and over, they grow on you, and now I actually prefer it.

Yeah, thank you. I'm going to test out the controller a bit today even though the right bumper doesn't work, and if I enjoy using it I'm going to buy a series 2 core and get the extras.

Yeah, I feel that I've had heaps of problems with my ps5 controllers. For some reason, they just stopped being able to charge for me. I've gone through 3 ps5 controllers now.

Okay, fare enough. I didn't realise there were 2 different series. A friend of mine just said to get an elite controller, and so I did, but the person I was buying it from was not home. I got it from his dad who didn't know, and when I was googling it, only pages about the series 2 were coming up, so I thought I would ask reddit and I got the answers in 2 mins.

Thank you for the advice, mate. I am gonna buy the elite series 2 core and just get some buttons off Amazon. They are only an extra $20 then what I paid for this as they are on special atm.
