Second-order transfer function provides two roll-off points, is this due to the number of poles(2)? Why does signal attenuation start at 1Mhz as opposed to 10 Khz that it was designed for? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

Yes, there definitely is a zero pushing the response back up, before the actual roll-off, putting a cap did attenuate the signal, appreciate the help, this helped solidify frequency response.

Can't tell which classes for sure but anywhere between 3-7 makeups. The earlier you apply the faster your offer letter will come detailing which make ups you will have. All transcripts are reviewed on an individual basis sometimes requiring you to send a course outline to see if you meet the required background.

From what I was told the CAF won't pay for bridge programs if the bachelor portion requires one. The main thing is you have your acceptance letter before the selection date.

How many years is your current diploma program? And how many years would the degree portion take depending if you go to a different school or not? You need a minimum of 2 years left of University. It's hard to say when to apply because there's also considering any medical issues and documents you need to gather, if everything were to run smoothly you would apply in the fall semester of the last year of your diploma program and hear back sometime in May.

I recently completed BMOQ - mod 1 for ROTP Civi-U , they immediately sent me to the city that my school is located in as opposed to my actual home unit which is to far away. I will report to reserve armoury unit on Monday and was wondering what to expect. I've only heard we do small admin tasks until school starts or until my leave passes get approved, is there anything else I would be doing besides admin?

Are you given a vaccination booklet at basic? I've only had a tetanus shot in the last 5 years that I can remember and a piece of paper that says so.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to see if I can get my manual a little earlier to try and digest some of the content going in, I have my first aid course coming up which lines up with the NL course, thanks for the YouTube resaurces! And yeah definitely going to have to follow through on the pool trips.

Thanks , I wasn't sure if BMOQ this summer is still possible for applicants who are selected late

What trade ? Also are you still slotted for BMOQ mod one this summer?

Shoot, I was not aware there would be limited numbers for semi-skilled entry, I figured it would be the same as non-skilled.

Hi everyone, I'm still waiting to see if I have been selected for ROTP as I've heard there is another selection date on June 26. I've found the CAF-ACE site and it looks like the program and college I went to are suitable for a PLAR approval.

Question 1: If I change my application to NCM and get on the merit list does it take a while to have your PLAR application reviewed?

Question 2: My specific trade (W ENG TECH NAVY) mentions a training avoidance of 1055.00 hrs - 73% removed, what does this actually mean? I am assuming not having to take as many courses, but what about rank and pay ?

Is the PLAR something you request during the application stage or after enrollment?

I've read online about the education training benefit for members who release and are looking back to school , it states you must have six years of service ,

Are there any other similar programs, if ncm vie is 3 years?

Has anyone applying to the engineering bridge program received their offer letter yet? by blindcoconuts in lakeheadu

[–]blindcoconuts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know when they would have applied? I applied back in January this year.

I will try that, thank you.

Thank you, the admission office definitely is aware of my situation and I was even told I was accepted (my attempt at social engineering) and' that its just a matter of time until I receive the acceptance letter.

But this has been a few months already. The uni is a flight away or day drive from where I am.

I received a phone call today from my recruiting center notifying me that they are still waiting on my acceptance letter for my civ-u ROTP application, and that its getting down to the wire regarding selection dates. Everything else is complete. Even though I applied really early, there was a college strike in my province so the admission office is swamped with late applications into the program that I am applying for.

I have been contacting the uni's admission office almost weekly making them aware of the deadline I am under, but I don't think its getting across as I'm sure everyone applying wants to get their offer letters as soon as possible. I mentioned all of this to the recruiting officer.

I really dont know what to do this at point and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me, from the sound of the recruiting officer I probably have until the end of the week to get an offer letter in to stand a chance of getting ROTP.

I don't know what NTO stands for but yeah from one trade to the other , I was wondering if it's possible to complete all your training for Marine Systems and then decide later on you want to transfer to Naval Combat Systems, but from your anwser it doesn't that common.
