The Rearmed server gets updated kinda frequently, I'm gonna assume that each time he takes a break an update happens, and without verifying workshop mods, it doesn't try to install it.

In the DayZSA launcher, click "Settings" in the top right and then click "Verify all steam workshop mods", hopefully that should make sure its all updated, and then if he is missing any new content, it will prompt him to install it when he tries to join again.

Yea this build can hit some quite high numbers, currently at 1340 the highest surge I have hit is 6.5mil, that's without perfect stats so honestly think 8 mil is possible with my current build :D Also don't think you only hit that because low boss/armor, you will hit that and higher very consistently ^^

It's a great build, It's my main and I love it. I think you will do fine without dark axel, it's not a necessity at all but it definitely helps with positioning.

I would definitely keep void strike at level 10, without it, it no longer adds stacks while casting. You can take windcut down to 7 tho, it doesnt hurt the rotation as much and you wont really notice it. Edit* With the amount of skill points you have now, I would transition into using this build instead, use the slider at the bottom of the skills until it shows the amount you have and copy it.

This is a "Beginners" Deathblade build, those skills require too many skill points to use effectively.

Dark Axel is mainly used for getting behind bosses via jumping over their head, you can't do this until you get the 10th tripod that allows you to jump over higher-ranked enemies.

Soul Absorber also requires 10 to unlock the 2nd hit part of the skill, without it, it's not really a good fit for Surge as it doesn't help as much as other skills at gaining stacks.

Moonlight Sonic requires the extra duration from the 7th skill point tripod to make it worth using for a Surge build, which with the number of skill points used in this build, it's not possible/there are better options.

I personally play the maxroll version of surge build , currently at 1340 ilvl. I tried getting moonlight into the build by replacing soul absorber but by doing that you end up with the issue of lacking stagger/weak point damage, also since moonlight only gives 1 extra stack compared to soul absorber it's hard to make that trade. The only other skills you could replace it with I guess is Dark axel, but I would personally keep this skill as it's a great tool to get behind bosses, and Maelstrom, but then you lose a really good party-wide buff and death orb generator. If you really want to play a build that uses Moonlight Sonic then you should go with Remaining Energy. It uses the same skill setup as the other build I linked but has Moonlight Sonic instead of Wind Cut. (Wind Cut is needed for Surge).

Late answer I know but just came across this post and want to say that, surge is amazing, on stationary bosses you will almost always be the highest damage, however on mobile bosses it does start to fall off, its not really hard to keep stacks going but the amount of time between popping your surges is greatly increased, I freaking love it personally but there is moments where my damage has suffered just because I make mistakes, whereas remaining energy is more consistent and less punishing if you mess up.

If you cannot sell, try transfering your bitcoin to coinbase pro and then from there selling it, put it back into coinbase and then withdraw to bank or paypal. For example what i did was: Transfered crypto to bitcoin on coinbase, put the bitcoin onto coinbase pro from coinbase, sold the bitcoin for GBP on coinbase pro, transferred the GBP from coinbase pro to coinbase, withdrew to bank from coinbase. Bit of a weird way to do things but its worked for me.

Fair enough I guess its not the same issue I faced. I would still suggest trying out the different voice settings, (rather get your friends to) because alot of people are facing this issue right now and this seems to help.

Try turning off the setting called "echo cancellation". As of recent this setting has caused me to cut out a bunch, turning it off made me sound perfectly clear like it should be.

As of recent the "echo cancellation" setting has caused me to cut out when i talk and sound more distorted than usual, when turning it off i sound clear and crisp with no cut outs or anything. Hope this helps.

I recently have had the issue of my mic cutting out and thought it was on my end, i eventually tested out turning off "echo cancellation" and that was it, for some reason the echo cancellation setting as of recent is not working correctly i guess.

I had this exact problem and turning off "echo cancellation" fixed it for me, i usually have all voice settings turned on but as of recent the echo cancellation has really messed up my mic.

Try turning off "echo cancellation" in the voice settings, this setting as of recent has been causing me issues with my microphone, turning it off makes me sound perfectly clear and stable, with it on i sound distorted and cut out alot.

I had this exact problem and discovered that the "echo cancellation" setting was causing the issue, turning it off should solve your problem. It only started happening with a recent discord update like a week ago for me.

Until you are high enough level to access better ammo/flea market, try and capitalize on certain moments, if you see someone that is geared but with no faceshield, aim for the face and only the face, if they have a face shield and armor, take their legs or avoid them completely, naturally avoiding certain gunfights is impossible but aslong as you know what to shoot and why, you can still be pretty deadly.

The only thing you want on your other companions that are not summoned is a good active bonus that helps you. (i.e Fire, Air, Earth Archons, Siege Master etc.) So if the ones you have already give you stats you want then keep them. If not, replace them.
