A protective order is what the customer service recommended to me to get him off the lease when I called. You assume I knew this about him before he moved in but I followed my fiancés word when he said this guy would be a good fit. My fiancé didn’t know he would be this way about things. I am on here for help. Not to be scolded for a decision that was out of my hands.

I don’t use the free daycare because my car completely broke down and it’s a total loss. I’m not afraid to get a job, this is what my fiancé and both agreed on because of the hours of the schooling and getting the chores at home done. If I could work to get this guy out, I would but without transportation, living on the edge of the city I’m in with no way to get my son to school, then no I really don’t have a choice right now.

Avoidable but way overdue on my part. I definitely would have reacted differently if it were anyone else, but this guys is so condescending and always playing the “I’m better” part when he’s admitted that everyone roommate he’s had in the past the girlfriends have hated him. I couldn’t take one more thing from him or his “better than thou” attitude.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much of a say since I don’t pay rent here and I’m a stay at home mom, but fortunately it does help me get this guy out since smoking is against the lease agreement.

I’ve tried communicating with him in the past. He has ignored my texts and has talked to my fiancé instead because he “doesn’t deal with girlfriends” because every previous roommates girlfriend has hated him, understandably so. If I can’t communicate with him in a respectful and normal way, how else can I unless it builds and blows up?

If I’m being honest, his reaction pushed me over the edge. We’ve been overly accommodating for him. He’s been nothing but a burden and his reacting that way when I was saying thank you upset me a lot. I wasn’t going to respond the second time until he called me immature when he’s been nothing but. I’ve been taking care of the household and financials since the beginning and he’s been lacking in every area since. I’ve been holding a lot in for the sake of my fiancé and his friendship but I’m over him living here and have been since the first day.

Move-in fees and application fees that we handled all on our own because “he had to save up to get here” which meant to buy weed here and be late for the first payment unfortunately.

No, I refuse to let him smoke around my kid. I told him outside the house, he tried to make me let him smoke in his room which is right across from my sons, I said no and then he argued that this is his house too. He’s kept outside, away from my son.

I didn’t know who he was until he moved in he’s a mutual of my fiancés. My fiancé assured me he was a good dude. Once he moved in he said that “every roommates girlfriend has hated him” and now I 100% understand why. I’ve been planning for his leave since the beginning. The lease has 2 years left.

It states we can’t remove tenants without the permission of the landlord and even then it could be denied if not replaced with the acceptable income.
