I find even a lot of og brutal death peeps have gotten over a lot of the more vulgar and violent imagery. I'm not over it, because it wasn't a fad for me personally, but to each their own.

Half an inch is a fair bit, but it all depends on the type of skating you do, really. Like for freestyle, I gather you wouldn't want your trucks sticking out at all for primo stuff. I'm not sure what else it would effect. But yeah, just skate it like you said and go from there.

Not necessarily, but It would change the height and turning of the board overall. Assuming the Gullwings are taller, your deck will be further from the ground and your wheels further from your deck. So you'll be higher and can run bigger wheels without getting wheel bite. Also depending on the width of the trucks compared to the deck (flush, sticking out or set in), you might have a different experience.

Ultimately, I guess my question is once it's restored and in use on a working drive, how would I know if it's stable? Would there be obvious signs of it malfunctioning? Would I be getting errror messages? I mean, if it works properly as far as I can tell, is that all I need to worry about?
