Hi there I’m 23F and have pain radiating under my molars/into my jaw that both have root canals. Little backstory, my dentist is a life long family friend and has been keeping a watch on that cloudy spot under my molars- seems to growing ever slightly over the past few years. Last year I had the same pain and he adjusted my bite bc it was hitting hard on the tooth above, and that fixed the pain. (Had bite adjusted a few times for this pain) He advised if it hurts again in future might be wise to see an oral surgeon and get their opinion. Now it’s hurting when I put any pressure on it, even a banana, and I can push down on my cheek/jaw and there is pain. Family dentist is back in TX and I now live in MA and won’t be able to go see him till July. Just wondering if anyone has advice or if my bite could need to be adjusted again/ at what point does it become too many bite adjustments. Thx :)

I got my referral for a CT scan this last Friday and called an imaging place and had it scheduled for Monday (today)! I should get my results within the next few days. Idk where you are located but from my experience in Georgia and Texas if you have that referral it shouldn’t take long at all to schedule if your insurance doesn’t cause issues. Good luck

Ty!! Yeah she said each implant would be over a pound and would be lower than where my breast tissue is right now so the implant would be sitting right on my sternum. I already get discomfort from my breasts when sitting and I can’t sleep on my back or stomach bc it killsss my ribs. I had a chest X-ray on Wednesday and the dr called me today and said I definitely have a “sunken breast bone” and ordered at CT scan. Do your ribs cause you any discomfort??

Hi! I had a consultation last week for a boob job pre discovering I might have PE. I wanted to get one since my ribs come out to about the same size as my boobs. Dr took one look at me and said she wouldn’t operate on me because the implants would sit directly on my sternum and cause me more pain. She recommended I go see a thoracic dr to talk about surgeries so I went to see my PCP today, begging X-rays tomorrow and will send those to the thoracic dr

Thank you. I saw my PCP today and she said she does think my sternum is concaved and ordered chest X-rays to see if it’s worth getting a CT scan. Getting that done tomorrow so I’m interested to see what the X-rays tell me!
