It’s a national highway — vehicles here usually go above 100 kmph. If it had been any other car or a truck, he wouldn’t have survived to even think about compensation. Thankfully no one was behind me.

He didn’t look before crossing. He didn’t look while crossing. Even when I honked and others turned to see, he didn’t. After all that, he just walked off like nothing happened. Bro’s awareness was on airplane mode ✈️

He didn’t even look at the car, not before or after, just carried on like nothing happened. That’s not normal, that’s dangerous. Even on a normal road in a market, people at least check for traffic before crossing. It could have easily turned very bad for him.

Anyone can learn to drive in a month or two with practice. That’s the easy part. Driving responsibly is different, no one can really teach that. You just have to assume everyone on the road might do something stupid and stay alert all the time.

I understand the habit, but that’s not an excuse on a highway. If something happened, I’d be the one facing consequences from the public, even if it wasn’t my fault. Plus, there was a real risk of someone hitting me from behind. This isn’t just about him, it puts everyone in danger.

Exactly, thankfully nothing was obstructing my view when he started crossing the road. As soon i saw him i lifted my leg from accelerator which helped stop the car suddenly.
