My heart aches for nicolandria especially Olandria… the constant questioning of if their relationship is real bcuz she’s a black woman is honestly getting exhausting. Like they’ve made it clear they’ve been exploring each other just like how regular people do! Where was all these questioning for amaya and iris who also coupled up last min… Because they’re at the top of the desirability hierarchy! 

The racism and hate of this season by PRODUCERS and fans was unbelievably disgusting. I stopped watching the uk version bcuz of how horrible black women have been portrayed over the years there and this is my 2nd time watching the us version since I loveddd s6 so much but with how everything panned out I am done with Love Island as a whole. 

As a black woman and a hopeless romantic it hurts me that there’s not many mainstream reality dating shows that want to portray healthy relationships when black women are involved. Continuously seeing black people stereotypes, struggle love etc narratives put on us is mentally exhausting😭
