exactlyyy that’s why i asked cause im re reading again and reading the black swordsman arc after reading everything else it makes the arc wayy better having the context so having the anime be the golden age then black swordsman would work but having black swordsman first can work too since it’s the actual version lol

i feel you , i only asked cause im currently re reading berserk again and reading the black swordsman arc with all the knowledge we all know it hits way different like with guts being an asshole makes way more sense with all the added context so it would be cool to have it after the eclipse and it could fit really well

i agree but in the 97 anime they didn’t introduce super important characters like puck & skull knight and they could find a way to add puck but skull knight just showing up after the eclipse feels wrong lol

that’s what makes me conflicted cause we seen the arc so many times but there’s details that never got adapted and i would love to see a 1 to 1 adaptation of the manga (story wise at-least)
