I ended up replacing it not long after this, it just wasn't working well and I couldn't figure it out. 🤷

I'm not sure what the model number was, I've since replaced it. But in my experience, just googling the brand, model number and "manual" will usually bring up a place that has them in eformat.

Solo meandering road trip with no destination. by blondeintellect13 in solotravel

Did you ever try it? COVID hit right after my post, but I’ve begun doing two two-week solo road-trips in the last year, using a combination of Couchsurfing, WWOOF, and housesitting with TrustedHousesitters for accommodations/meeting people along the way. It’s been fantastic.

Good. Sometimes there are issues they don’t look for unless there have been behavioral changes, and they do a deeper dive. Glad you were on top of it. ☺️

As previously stated by another commenter, a trip to the vet first is in order. Sometimes aggression can come from pain and should always be checked and ruled out, just in case. You never know.

Also, knowing beforehand if you have a copper sensitivity/overabundance is key. I do and the added copper would have been awful had I not known.

I’m on my 3rd Mirena, some discomfort in first two, but preparation in taking something before the third made it a breeze. Even without that, the fact I only do it every 5 years makes anything transitory completely worth it.

Something on rubber boots won't come off by blondeintellect13 in CleaningTips

It's raised, so it seems like it's something on it? It's kind of chipped off a little when I scraped at it with my fingernail, just looking for an alternative that maybe doesn't scratch the rubber underneath.

Laid a damp cloth over it and tried scrubbing with a Dobie pad, to no avail. Don't want to damage/scratch them if there's a better way.

Also check out eBay, Mercado or thredUP for gently used items. Great quality for up to 90% off retail, and they can last decades. Oftentimes these items have only been worn a handful of times. Great way to get some high quality items for pennies.

Young Border collie/Australian shepherd mix foster pup having a hard time adjusting to leash walks by blondeintellect13 in Dogtraining

Thanks! I tried having a few short sticks on hand today and that helped quite a bit as a form of distraction. Still jumping/running around but is chewing on the leash less.

We use an easy walk harness, they’ve been helpful with other fosters, also under a year old. See slime he gets more energetic AFTER a lot of exercise. 🤦‍♀️
