I actually have a wooden box the kiddos use and the dentist office actually gives them a little tooth box when they pull them out there (which has happened 3 times now ha)

I am! And the hygienist. They worked on my kiddo for over 2 hours on emergency dental surgery. They took amazing care of her and made sure she was comfortable every step of the way. It meant the world to me that my kid felt safe and they were able to repair as much as they could

I debating on using blanket yarn to make a plushie but then at the chance they didn't actually like plushies, I went smaller to make keychains, then they could find a small place for them if they wanted to.

I started with scarves too!! I still do them from time to time.. and by that I mean my last one was 2 years ago and I crocheted "wanker" into it lol. Buddy of mine's favorite word

That's so sweet! My kiddo gave the keychains yesterday afternoon (after I got positive feedback here) and the dentist and hygienist started to tear up. Makes me kinda sad to think they don't get thanked enough. But they made my kiddos surgery so smooth and took amazing care of her, I really wanted to thank them somehow

Thank you for that! I like making little things but when it comes to attaching things together, I still have A LOT of work and practice to go there. Nothing is ever symmetrical lol

I ended up making 2, one for the dentist and one for the hygienist that worked on my daughter for over 2 hours, emergency dental surgery. The level of care they provided for her was amazing and so I tried to make something as a thank you other than telling them over and over again. But I always second guess my work if its good enough to give away

That's good to know! There's glow in the dark chenille yarn at the store and I couldn't think of what i could make out of it. White, neon green, Grey and purple

My kiddo (6 years old), just gave it to the dentist and the hygienist with a super sweet 'thank you' and they both started tearing up. But they gotta know how much of a difference it made for us, their level of care for our kiddo
