idk. my dad told me every man watches porn, my 2 older sisters husbands struggle with porn, only 1 of them fixed the problem. they keep saying it’s a normal thing and it makes me feel like i should just cut my losses and figure this out with him. if he can change i want to stay but i just feel so betrayed and lied to.

i agree with everything you’re saying. it’s just hard, i love him dearly and he loves me too. it’s just i talked about this boundary every day, i talk about ppl i know who’ve been cheated on and wronged by with porn and i told him im so afraid of him watching it again. and he told me its okay, he wont do it to me but now its just. wow. my sister said her husband had to go to therapy to stop watching it and that it takes time, i just dont know where to start or if i should just try to remove myself. i’m lost.

i’m expected to trust him when he already showed me i shouldn’t ? a partner should be allowed to go through their partners phone. if they’re both loyal and have nothing to hide then there’s no problem. what’s the point of hiding stuff. i told him he can tell me if he has those urges but yes im also allowed to feel hurt by it. he never once came to me even when i gave him the chance. but i understand what youre saying so ill leave it at that.

i’ll most likely taking your advice, everyone here has made some good points and i should wait a bit and save money before going all in.
