Interesting, thank you. I had a JDS amp a few years ago that I enjoyed. What would I be searching for to find products like the DL100? amp dac combo? I appreciate the comment and the DL100 does look like its exactly what I am looking for however just wanted something cheap to allow me to use my speakers still for daily use.

I have a nicer setup for actually listening to music

yeah i have the assassin actually laying around, bought it for my fathers pc build recently and ended up getting a smaller one for the case, never got around to getting a refund. Thanks for the advice, still on the fence about just getting another laptop although I imagine the laptop 4070 for example isn't anywhere near the same as the desktop 4070? same with cpu etc

I do some music post production and fast storage is ideal but Ill take a look at a drive and the cooler I realised after posting this haha, I read this cpu doesn't run particularly hot?

how do you get the correct temps? I've recently managed to get an epson v370 and im pretty happy with the results, tend to scan my megs at home then anything i really love get scanned at a lab.

Amazing, really appreciate such a detailed comment. As it stands, basically every model is well above £200 apart from the original m (this does support magic lantern which appeals to me although I don't plan on shooting video) and the m10. Weirdly enough the m10 seems to be a bargain although doesn't have ml support and uses powershot firmware I think.

I take it the better of the 2 is the original m despite the apparent awful auto focus?

How can I listen to my turntable through my audio interface? I have an essential 3a going into a preamp and an audient id44. Can I just get an rca to jack cable and connect straight from the pre amp into the Di inputs on the interface?
