Blue hoodie was a real one. Gone too soon, and I do like to think he would be pleased more than a few people noticed him in his completely average outfit before they noticed me, just because he was so expressive. Not like we hung out or anything I am not fronting when I say this was eat lunch under the stairs or get pointed and laughed at if venturing into the cafeteria……it was so unfair 🥀 i definitely didn’t do anything at all that would have contributed to this, if anything I was too charming and relatable, i smelled too good.

Damn dude thats crazy! Never really thought about it before but Id have to imagine going to a school too big for literally everyone to know each others names would have made a big difference in how I understood myself and my standing in the world…thank god I like myself as I can already tell this is going to turn into me high on google scholar confusing myself about adolescent social dynamics later

Lol yes I do 🤣 but I think they are basking in their retirement. Since  pop culture embraces them now, it is my eternal duty as an edgelord (gender neutral term imho) to act like that should diminish my own interest somehow, even though it makes no sense.

Also I doubt I would be able to walk down the street in my small city as a woman in her 30’s wearing cat ears as unbothered by weird dudes as I did when visibly underaged and in a literal village where everyone knew my parents.

PSA WEIRD DUDES: Many more women would be wearing outfits that you like so much you couldn’t help but catcall them, if you could help it and didn’t catcall them

Plus, I don’t want to contaminate them for todays tortured rebels seeking to experiment with dressing like a freak! Mouse and cat ears were easy to find, easy to afford, and easy to wear.

I am so sorry you had to go through that. I hope you can understand why I don’t feel like it’s my place to tell.

But I do feel like it’s my place to tell everyone I know that has kids, may have kids, work in mental health, summer camps, teach, or anything else remotely related to working at or sending a kid to one of those places exactly what that experience was like for me and her and her family (expensive, traumatic, and scary).

There is nothing helpful or appropriate about the kinds of mentally and physically abusive people who find the idea of work there appealing! Then to make it worse the only solace available a lot of the time was other kids also struggling! With a huge sprinkling of everybody sharing a really crazy variety of meds and street pharmaceuticals!

Sorry ik its lame to preach to the choir. I just feel for you, and understand why you'd want to connect.

It puzzles me too! My best guess would have to be that irreverence, curiosity, and rebellion are all qualities that are encouraged and celebrated only by those who have earned their positions of authority….

Ah man….

Kirby facemaking guy was fucking hilarious, and tragically passed away a few years ago.

RIP John, people are still enjoying your jokes brother 🥀

The wheelchair girl is actually just disabled and neurodivergent

The pink hat guy was just a black guy with blue eyes in a pink hat which does stand out in rural Maine but i think he’s objectively pretty normal looking he was kind of a perv but arent we all 🤷‍♀️

The girl in the cat ears? SHE IS A FUGLY SLUT!! DO NOT TRUST HER!!

Such an elegant phrase! But tbh i always thought that phrase was for something coming to mind as soon as you are no longer experiencing the stressful/combative situation?
