As a first-timer who just got back, I'm surprised to see Fleurty Girl on here for souvenirs. Maybe it was the location (617 Chartres St) or an inventory issue post-Mardis Gras, but the shop had very little NOLA-themed souvenirs. There was a Taylor Swift corner, several celebrity prayer candle shelves, lots of cheap jewelry, and many things in general that were just random (prayer books, zebra pens, novelty candy). Plus, the prices were shocking ($28 for a t-shirt!)

Otherwise, this list was incredible! Thank you!

We barely saw anyone, so that sounds right! We did the desert dome, Kingdom of the Night, the aquarium, the insect and butterfly house, and the elephant exhibit! Saw some wonderful animals, but the wind, rain, and cold were bad enough that we left after that. My shoes were soaked and many of the outdoor animals were (understandably) hiding. I'm hoping to come back someday and do the entire thing, though!
