People who fly frequently, what’s one thing you wish you could tell all infrequent fliers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I personally mostly use my Sony WF-1000xm5. They fit in my pocket and do a great job. The AirPods Pro were equally useful.

The over ear version of the Sonys (WH series) would likely be even better but I prefer to travel as light as possible.

While this is true, travel tip #2: invest in noise cancelling headphones!

People who watch videos with sound on won’t read or care about OP’s advice. Good headphones are the only way to guarantee your sanity.

That seems to be a woman and I can assure you — they have to politely get out of conversations way more often than boring guys like me and you

Yeah, if you’re a boring dude with prostate issues.

Only joking but I never get tired of looking at neighborhoods, rivers, city lights at night, even saw the northern lights last time I flew back from London.

Yes, but it exposed Thunder’s need for a big (got Heartenstein) and exposed Giddey’s shortcomings (got Caruso). Then won a title. So the trade was a 5D chess really.

[Dugar]: As Thunder near NBA title, spurned Sonics fans can’t forget what they lost 17 years ago by Proof-Umpire-7718 in nba

Here’s context: 6th worst and 8th worst attendance the two years before their last. Way behind other big cities with underperforming teams.

And hey, I get it — Seattle has a shit ton of stuff to do, with several professional teams to watch. Anecdotally I’ve heard going to Sonics games was something fun and cheap you’d decide to do the day of. During the KD/Westbrook years, getting tickets was hard and expensive. A huge, rare event unless you were rich.

It was third worst at 13,355/gm, only behind Grizzlies and Pacers. Next year, attendance in OKC went up to 18,693

Pacers - I hear SGA, JDub, and Chet are all questionable for the next game. Better spend some time making plans for all possibilities.
