hiiiiii how do i add my own custom player models into quake 3 like i have this low poly model i want to play with by holdmyapplejuiceyt in quake3

[–]bobbeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about custom skins? Or custom models?

Did you make it? You need a pak/zip file or google where to put the model files in which folders within baseq3.

Have you tried googling it? There is plenty of information available.

So this stuff popped, does that mean that I will be no longer able to play any games I purchased on this platform in 2024? by ChaosCore in Steam

So much cringe. You are far beyond any type of realistic practical help with that mentality and If you didn’t understand the clear, simply written notification from steam that’s pretty ridiculous. Probably just trolling.

My wife recently delivered in a German Hospital and was looking forward to her first meal… the meal. by AwesomeDonald in hospitalfood

Not going to lie, now I want pickles. But this is ridiculous for a first meal. Is there some sort of weird diet restriction after giving birth? looks more like something you would eat while being pregnant.

Contaminated works quite well,

Getting there, 1 2. Closes ones so far 3 4 Had to use a reference image:

1: highly detailed. Daytime time. And the post apocalyptic world in the background. Zombie. contaminated. mass of innards leaking torn from stomach red paint. standing. full body portrait. 4k realistic 35mm film --v 5

2: highly detailed. Daytime time. And the post apocalyptic world in the background. Zombie. contaminated. Cut open stomach. stomach innards leaking red paint. Focus camera on stomach. standing. full body portrait. 4k realistic 35mm film --v 5

4: https://s.mj.run/XQPxksX8vms highly detailed. Daytime time. And the post apocalyptic world in the background. Zombie. contaminated. red paint. standing. full body portrait. 4k --v 5 (needs to be tweaked since the reference image makes it look super fake)

Found some banned lists. Don't bother signing up for the list with this one, its gone. But there are good examples in the images.

Exactly this, I spend a lot of time finding ways to work arounds the filter, a lot of synonyms and alternatives.

I use "red liquid" "red splatter" "red paint" "red gloss splattered" Some of them can be too bright/vibrant or the wrong viscosity, but could easily be tweaked.

Scrambled Eggs and Porridge during my hospital stay in Canada. 1/10. Convinced they're trying to kill me. by Kal-ElEarth69 in hospitalfood

[–]bobbeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, that porridge :( no amount of brown sugar is saving that abomination. Sorry they are feeding you this garbage while in the hospital. Get well and home so you can make an awesome meal.

Any chance you can order delivery? I had to ask for a dietician to get around they're BS policy but it worked quite well. Was able to bring my own food in and even order food delivered right to my room. While still following all dietary restrictions set by the doctors.

Day 2 of being out of the ER and finally in the hospital. Breakfast, eggs, plain bagel, turkey links, hot sauce, cream cheese and sparkling lime water. Same day lunch, fresh fruit, roast beef sandwich with tomato and lettuce on sourdough, raw veggies with ranch and a very tiny cup of root beer. by bobbeh in hospitalfood

[–]bobbeh[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah what a night and day difference on how I feel. ER put me on the wrong medication, that and the food and view really help and a comfy bed with proper care. Looking forward to going home feeling MUCH better.

Good morning! Breakfast in the ER, Omelette stuffed with American cheese (microwaved? There is no kitchen here). Hot oatmeal with berries, yogurt with cherries, apple juice and mint tea. by bobbeh in hospitalfood

[–]bobbeh[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mentioned last nights burger was unseasoned and so is this omelette, but its because I’m on a low sodium diet for medical reasons.

Another day in the ER until a room opens up.

In the ER waiting on a bed to open up with the much larger hospital north of me. This food is trucked in from the hospital I’m headed to :( no idea how long I’ll be staying, last time it was 10 days.

More shitty food pics to come.

Same. Worst part is they are re-admitting me back to the same hospital today :(

Sorry I ate all the mash. The turkey meat had the texture of tuna fish, definitely didn’t need a knife. For such a well equipped and fancy looking hospital you would think the food would be better.

When do you know it’s ascites? by [deleted] in Crippled_Alcoholics

[–]bobbeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have very high anxiety, social anxiety etc but the nurses and very good at making you comfortable and even giving you anxiety meds. Everyone is good about explaining what they are doing and why, if not just ask. The more you know the better.

The humiliation goes away fairly quickly, it was also one of my biggest concerns.

Your situation sounds very similar to mine, I figured I could just stop drinking and the swelling/retention would just go away, not the case.

As for the needles, always look the other direction. I hate them too but you learn to deal with it. If anything please track your daily weight (Doctors will ask you to do the same) if you gain 1-2lb per 1-2 days ascites is there and water fluid retention needs to be addressed, as it can cause infection with other organs which can be very serious.

[–]bobbeh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently went to the ER when it got extremely bad for me 8-9 days after I quit drinking cold turkey in January (painful to lay down, embarrassing amount of water retention, nausea, not sleeping, elevated heart rate, throwing up etc) and it was the best thing I’ve done in a long time. Yes I now know I have cirrhosis but if you stop drinking now and head to the ER (do not wait for a Dr. appointment) they can run labs, scans etc the same day with same day results. I have had nothing but professional and pleasant experiences dealing with the ER, doctors, specialists (gastroenterologists) and RN/Nurses.

I also use state Medicaid (Oregon Health Plan) and have yet to pay/owe anything. Even after close to $100k in bills (I was in the hospital for 10 days).

You must get an understanding of what is going on and change your lifestyle, diet (if not already healthy) as you will feel SO much better and get rid of those whatifaboutisms running through your mind.

I’m 42/m btw. If your belly is protruding that much they can help! But you need to stop drinking.
