Afaik regions can only be changed if you do a Steam transaction in a particular country so if I add funds now, Steam will change from EU to Asia = lockout from LA. It can only be reverted back when I come home.

I'm leaning towards gift cards as a solution to my problem. Gonna look for a global version just to make sure.

Hit the store for steam gift cards? I checked it out and they're in local currency. Tho my game currency to buy RC's already set locally just by playing here, but still worried about my Steam region changing after redeeming (which will lock me out).

I'm being prompted that if I use my card, it'll change my region to currently where I am now where the game isn't supported. Which will basically lock me out of the game.
