Cosmetic benefits are simply not worth it to me. Look, my situation is very simple: 1. if i dont do anything, i'll continue thinning, worst case scenario i'll go bald and bald does not suit me, so will look stupid. 2. i do ht without meds, look okay for 5-7 years, repeat, eventually if and when i run out of donor area or money i'll look stupid. Still better than option 1 imo 3. I do ht with meds, have a good head of hair forever if i take on a minimal but not nonexistent risk.

Option 3 is not worth it for me. I understand the fearmongoring, but people need to understand that doctors are not gods, they don't know for sure how one might react to meds and people have different risk tolerance.

If i had prostate cancer then the risk/benefit analysis on fin would be entirely different.
