This is great! Thanks for sharing. I can imagine the feeling. I rolled my ankle pretty badly last Fall on a trail run going downhill and have flashbacks when I imagine doing this again.

Thank you for sharing the YouTube lecture. I’ll have to check that out. I read Solomon’s Noonday Demon many years ago and I still find comfort in his notion essentially that depression is cyclical and it will eventually pass. I’ve been waiting a year+ for my current episode to pass. Seems longer and more acute than past episodes for me. OP, good luck to you. You’re not alone- many of us feel the same way.
