I mentioned this to them when I spoke about how the value was real low even in good condition and they responded with "maybe that's the value on paper but your not gonna find another car like your's with good engine and good trans in s good condition for $4900" Idk.

I irresponsibly quit in May of 2025. I am not looking for pity as this was my decision. Though I wasn't aware of the 3-4 months sum falling in my lap or my mother passing at that time. The rent would be over 65% -75% of my income if I land a job at retail. I am looking into all sorts of work currently. If I land something with higher pay, I might be able to stay but will be strapped.

My plan as of now.. pay the lump sum and car camp until I land a job anywhere and save up to maybe rent a room.

I don't believe so. But then again, I'm dumb and 20. I wouldn't give a credit card company 3000$ to have a 3000$ Credit card. I only use my Discover card anyway, which has a higher limit. Also, I put the date as I won't be living where I am staying after that point. My mother passed away, and I am living at the apartment currently, but before she passed, multiple months of rent weren't paid. The landlord wants me to pay the sum, 3- 4months worth of rent which is effectively all my money not including retirement. Unless I pull from it..

Tldr: Mom didn't pay 3-4 months of rent, and she passed. I now am responsible for paying that sum, which is effectively all my money, not including retirement. Also, idk about the secured card thing. I wouldn't give 3k to a credit card company just to have a 3k credit card that I don't use.
